Within the walls of Canyon de Chelly, two sisters learn about their Navajo culture and history. Above the rim, they compete in pageants by singing songs in Navajo. This film illustrates efforts to define identities in both modern and traditional worlds, the movement to honor Navajo culture for generations to come and the inseparability of culture and place.
