SEPTEMBER, 2025: Thanks again to the more than 1,200 people who joined us, for our 12th annual festival of many of the world’s best new ecological, Indigenous, and place-based films from around the living world.

We are preparing for several exciting things, including a first-of-its-kind podcast exploring ecological, Indigenous, and place-based cinema with filmmakers and film participants, which begins early next year.

Speaking of next year, we have begun the selection process for our 2026 festival, which will happen from March through May at Portland’s Hollywood Theatre and Cinema 21.
