June, 2026: We recently concluded our regular festival season with encore screenings of several of this year’s award-winning films, including: LIKE FRIEND, LIKE DEER; TO THE WEST, IN ZAPATA; and COMSOS. We also announced the winners of our audience awards for Best Feature Film, RUNA SIMI, and Best Short Film, AKABABURU: EXPRESSION OF ASTONISHMENT.
Thousands of people attended our 2026 festival in Portland, which featured dozens of the best new environmental, Indigenous, and place-based films from around the living world, including our annual Indigenous Voices series and a handful of repertory special presentations.
Our regular season happened from March through May in Portland at the Hollywood Theatre, Cinema 21, and the Clinton Street Theater.
In June, our Best of the Fest series and Multnomah Clemente Course arrive at City Lights Cinemas (Florence, OR), the Columbian Theater (Astoria), and Olympia Film Society at the Capitol Theater (Olympia, WA). We are honored to share these fantastic films across the USA Pacific Northwest, celebrating the abundance of independent cinemas in our region:
