COSMOS is the winner of our curation community’s 2026 Best Feature Film Award and part of our Best of the Fest series in Florence, Astoria, and Olympia.

Life brings together Lena, a 68-year-old widow, and Leon, a 62-year-old Mayan guardian of nature’s secrets and spirits. Despite their differences, a deep bond forms between them. Set within the semi-wilderness of the Yucatán and shot in stunning black and white, COSMOS is a stirring and elegant tale of aging, its quiet transformations, and the essential bond of love and connection in every human life.
